Kings Silver is the second in a series of canyoneering adventures offered by Boyden Cavern Adventures & Tours LLC. This trip is appropriate for most ages, and health levels. However the trip is 6 to 8 hours long and does require hiking, swimming and rope work. Personal Flotation Device may be supplied, if you have your own we suggest you bring it!!! Be aware at the end of this amazing trip you will still have a 1 hour hike back to the main road. The hike at times is steep with many switchbacks, we stop often, drink lot's of water and take our time on the way out.

Rope work consists of using a hand line to control your speed down our water slides....To fast does not mean more fun.

Also we have a great Rappel, most ages are welcome to try it, this is optional on this trip. Start at the top of a 40 foot high water fall, with equipment in hand, lines tied to anchors and your seat harness adjusted. The guide begins to coach you into the proper position for this decent, where to place your feet, to lean back and how to control you own decent rate. Way Fun!!

For those who would rather walk around the waterfall, there is an area to the side of the falls were you may hike down with little difficulty. Actually this area is a great area for taking pictures.
 

Trip meets at the Boyden Cavern parking lot at 7:30 am. Guide introductions are made, gear is issued and the group is briefed on that days events. Then the group loads up in either your own vehicle or in the Boyden van and you drive about 15 minutes to the trail head.
